Kent's Green Pad Printing
Kent’s award winning Green Pad Printing innovation consists of five elements of new Pad Printing technology.
These elements are aimed to help reduce pollution, improve the working environment, reduce production costs and increase productivity and efficiency by replacing old pad printing technology.

The "Green Cup" is designed to create a “healthier” working environment and to cut out the need for time consuming cleaning downtime. Thus increasing productivity and reducing amounts of hazardous chemicals

The plate has the ability to have multiple images on one plate saving a further cost with a lifespan of up to 50,000 prints

Regular pad printing ink consists of 75% solvent, UV ink on the other hand contains less than 15% solvent, significantly reducing the amount of solvent evaporation into your working environment. It is also able to maintain a consistent ink viscosity for up to five hours. This is essential to ensure a reliable and high quality print consistency. Since the UV ink only dries when cured by UV light the ink does not dry up during printing as it does with solvent based inks.

Kent’s KCTP program (Kent Computer to Plate) is a direct, computer to plate image laser - engraving system. This revolutionary technology offers high engraving resolution of up to 1,800dpi, the ability to put 2 images on the same plate to save 50% on plate cost and has a user friendly graphic interface.
This process completely cuts out the hazardous chemicals used in the chemical etching process that not only saves time but eradicates the need to dump environmentally harmful chemicals into our environment.
Uses 3 out of 4 of the above Green Pad Printing elements; uses minimum material to construct and minimum energy to run it; uses little time for specific jobs setup.
Some machines have printing parameters that are digitally controlled with data memory helping to keep the reject rate below 0.5% at all times.
